The new Delta AC Mini Plus is designed to replace the first generation Delta AC charger and confirms the leadership Delta provides in the New Zealand EV market.
Small, simple, and stylish in design, the Delta AC Mini Plus is an installation-friendly EVSE offering Type-1 and Type-2 charging interfaces. Available with tethered leads for Type-1 and Type-2 sockets, the new charger is ideal for both Japanese and European EVs.
The Mini Plus comes in three models: a standard non-connected unit, an enhanced version with Wifi connectivity to enable charging to be monitored and scheduled, and a 3G model that enables integration with a payment network for commercial use.
The connectable models are the first charger compliant with the OCPP 1.16J open point charge protocol, enabling easy connection to payment gateway operators. All models provide access control through key fob RFID authentication.
To help clients manage faster charging with other loads, you can set the amperage from 8 to 32 amps at the time of installation. But the key feature for many users is the auto recovery after nuisance RCD trips in installations with a poor MEN link.
The Delta AC Mini Plus EV Charger is the first to be tested to the latest edition of IEC 61851-1: 2017 and is compliant with the WorkSafe guidelines for the safety of EV charging installations, complete with SDoCs.
